The European Union will insist on the implementation of the part of the Brussels Agreement concerning the establishment of the Community of Serbian Municipalities in Kosovo (CSM), stated Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport.
"The CSM is an important portion of obligations within the Brussels Agreement and the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština, and that portion of the agreement has to be implemented. It is difficult for me to say when this will be possible, but I can say that the EU will insist on the implementation of this portion of the agreement, too," Davenport said in a programme of the Public Broadcasting Service of Vojvodina.
He added that the delegations of Belgrade and Priština were going to discuss the implementation of some agreements, cadastre being one of them, during the week.
Asked about Chapter 35 on Kosovo in the negotiations of Serbia with the EU, Davenport replied that it was up to Serbia now to meet the detailed commitments and apply the guidelines contained in the Chapter, as well as to continue the dialogue with Priština.
